Alice Byrne, CGP, ACSW, MSW, RCSW

Ms. Byrne practices in Huntington, L.I. with children and adults in individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy and group therapy. She runs a psychoanalytically oriented group for adults on Tuesday evenings.

Her postgraduate training in is many modalities and she possesses two certificates from the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health Training Institute in New York City; one in Psychoanalytic Group Psychotherapy and the other in the Supervision of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy.

She also trained with Louise Hay and is a certified Louise Hay Workshop Leader and Teacher. She has studied at the Jung Foundation, is familiar with psychodrama and with the therapeutic use of dreams.

She has experience in the public as well as the private sector where she specializes in depression, anxiety, adoption issues, grieving and loss.
