Harriet Pappenheim, LCSW, CSW
Harriet Pappenheim LCSW,BCD is an experienced psychotherapist and
psychoanalyst. She was qualified at the Psychoanalytic Institute of the
Postgraduate Center for Mental Health and is currently on the faculty
of that school as well as on the faculty of other psychoanalytic
institutes in Manhattan. She is a member of the American Association of
Marital and Family therapists, a member of the International federation
of psychoanalytic Societies, and a former president of the Postgraduate
psychoanalytic Society.
She is highly regarded for her presentations to
colleagues at scientific conferences in the United States and abroad,
She is the author of the recent best seller " Bringing Home the
Bacon....Making Marriage Work When She Makes More Money" (Harper/Collins:
2005) and she has been featured on Good Morning America and the Today
Show. Harriet believes that people need healthy relationships with
partners and friends in order to function well. Her practice as an
individual and couples therapist brings her deep satisfaction. "I'm

on the good in one another, building tolerance and appreciation. I give
