Janice C. Warner, MS, LCSW, BCD
Janice Warner is a Board certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work. She is on the staff of the Faculty
and Staff Assistance program, Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey and is in private practice in
psychotherapy and couples counseling in Plainfield, New Jersey. She has over 25 years of experience in
working with issues of depression, anxiety, relationship issues, stress, work related problems, and change
of life issues, including bereavement.
She has given many workshops and seminars on issues for Biracial and multiracial families, cross-cultural
therapy and mental health issues for American Indians.
She is on the faculty of the Continuing Education and Professional Development Program of the Rutgers
School of Social Work in New Brunswick, New Jersey and the Group Therapy Training Program of the Post
Graduate Center for Mental Health in New York City. She is a graduate of the Columbia University School
of Social Work, the Post Masters program in Advanced Clinical Social Work, The Pastoral Counseling Program
and the Group Therapy Training program of the Postgraduate Center for Mental Health.
