Perviz Karanjia L.C.S.W., A.C.S.W., NCPsyA.
Perviz Karanjia has been practising psychotherapy and psychoanalysis for over 25 years. She received her
M.S.W. from the University of Michigan, School of Social Work and her psychoanalytic training from the
National Psychological Association for Psychoanalysis. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a
Licensed Psychoanalyst in New York.
Ms Karanjia works with individuals and couples. Her area of specialization is working with multi-cultural
issues. She is a member of the New York TransCultural Group. She works with people experiencing anxiety,
depression, relational issues, work related issues, resolving conflicts and achieving their full potential.
Ms Karanjia is the Clinic Director of Blanton Peale Counseling Center. She is also a faculty member of the
Blanton Peale Graduate Institute where she supervises students in their Psychoanalytic training program.
