Client Privacy Policy
According to a law passed by congress in 1996 called the Health Information Portability and Accountability
Act (HIPPA), every health care professional must have a written statement of his Privacy Policies available
to be read. On your first contact, you will be given a statement of conditions upon which your therapist
can be required to release information. Basically, there are very few of these conditions, mostly concerning
some form of judicial inquiry. No information will be released except as noted or if you request us to do so.
In all cases, you will be notified of the name of the person or agency requesting information.
